We are looking for a Social Media/Website Coordinator

The Social Media/Website Coordinator plays a critical role in driving awareness of Columbia Jewish Congregation and its programs in the marketplace through the creation, production and distribution of compelling, impactful social media content. Essential in the ongoing transformation of the organization’s social media presence, with a focus on driving engagement with multiple audiences across CJC’s existing social channels, growing those audiences and devising strategies to acquire new audiences and grow the current audiences. The Social Media Coordinator will create content for our website and for Facebook and Instagram and work directly with the Executive Director to maintain and grow the congregation’s online and social media presence. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical marketer with a passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling and is able to implement strategic recommendations across all social media channels. Much of the work can be done remotely and at any time of the day. Familiarity with [Reconstructing] Judaism is preferred but not mandatory.
